Welcome to MosaicMotion!

Hello and Welcome!
This is my personal blog about Supply Chain and Logistics, here I’m going to share with you not only my professional experiences, but I’m also going to share some topics about my personal life related to work, investment, readings, hobbies and so on.

Why MosaicMotion?
My vision of this industry is a little different from the classic one. Often the Supply Chain is imagined like a series of gears, if one gets stuck, everything stops. I don’t see it like that.

I imagine the Supply Chain like a Mosaic in constant motion, composed of few big pieces, with different colors, but composing a clear image. Every mosaic tile, represents a department or process of the SC. When everything works properly (or nearly properly), these tiles are aligned and they form a perfectly aligned and beautiful mosaic.
Otherwise, if only one department meets something across the way, the tiles begin to move away and rotate, leading to an overall image that it’s not comprehensible.

The beauty of this metaphor, can be seen in the fact that, as opposed to the series of gears, where a stuck, means the complete inactivity of the overall system, our Mosaic in Motion, some departments could continue to operate, even if it’s only for a short period. This offers a more dynamic and resilient prospective of the Supply Chain, highlighting the importance of every single element in the group.

This blog, is going to explore how every tile, every department, plays a vital role in the big picture of the Supply Chain.
I’m going to share with you ideas, my experiences, and maybe, together, we could see this mosaic not only as a series of tasks and processes, but like a piece of art in constant evolution.

Who am I?
This can be a tough question if we pose it in a philosophical way, but, let’s just be honest and more practical. STRAIGHT TO THE POINT, so please click here.

In this blog, I will share with you my adventures, reflections and insights, hoping to offer you some interesting material, that's all here.
